Dementia Care: Meeting Nutritional Needs
Dementia not only causes difficulties with thinking, memory, and behavior. It can also lead to unintentional weight loss. Throughout this course, you will learn how to support the nutritional needs of people with dementia, as well as nutritional goals and best practices.
The goal of this course is to teach non-licensed direct care workers in the post-acute care setting how best to support the nutritional needs of people with dementia.
