CNA recertification is required by the State of Delaware every two years. First, purchase the CNA Renewal Package that contains the 24 hours of continuing education required over the two-year period.
Also, included in the Renewal Package is the 64-hour work experience attestation statement. You must take the courses provided in this package, or contact Relias Support to have your employer transcript transferred to DHCQ. Authorization from your employer is required to transfer your transcript.
If you complete your 24-hours of continuing education through your employer’s Relias site, you must still complete the 64-hour work experience attestation. It is listed as a course in the CNA Renewal Package. You must still purchase the Renewal Package for $25; you will only then need to complete the one course which is the attestation statement.
